Check whether the existing owner has completed any relevant software campaigns and request an appropriate professional battery diagnostic when possible. The updated powertrain can be an advantage over an earlier example, but purchase economics depend on price, mileage and equipment. For motorists without a reliable outlet, a full hybrid can be easier to use than an EV whose long-distance appeal depends on charging stops.
