2025 Škoda Enyaq: Versions, Specifications and Buying Guide
Scope: documented 2025 sales/production-year edition; documented market: EU. Do not transfer specifications to other jurisdictions or production years.
Model-Year Identity and Market Context
Škoda's 2025 Enyaq facelift moved the electric SUV into the brand's Modern Solid design language and altered several practical choices without creating a wholly unrelated generation. The new front-end treatment, improved aerodynamics and software presentation help a 2025 facelift car stand apart from an earlier Enyaq registered in 2025. This distinction is important because date of first registration alone cannot establish whether the updated front-end and battery specification are present. Enyaq Coupé has different body packaging and should be documented separately when the differences materially affect the buyer's purpose.
Verified Powertrain and Equipment
In its 31 March 2025 press kit, Škoda identifies 60, 85 and 85x families, with output ranging from 150 kW to 210 kW among the cited non-RS versions. The 85x adds a front motor for AWD; 60 and 85 configurations are rear-drive. Škoda states peak DC charging power up to 175 kW on relevant versions and 10–80% stops of 28 minutes or less under specified favourable conditions. Those values are neither a battery pack's constant acceptance rate nor the result every owner will experience. Advertised WLTP range varies with derivative, wheel and equipment specification.

What Works for Buyers
The Enyaq's appeal is a familiar family-SUV interior married to battery-electric running. Drivers who can charge overnight have the most straightforward use case, while the 85 may be more suitable for regular longer journeys than a lower-battery 60. The 85x's additional driven axle is useful for traction requirements but adds weight and hardware rather than promising greater certified range. Family buyers should check the actual cargo area and child-seat layout instead of equating the regular SUV with the more stylised Coupé.
Limitations and Trade-Offs
Do not confuse the 2025 facelift with later 2026 technology: newer battery chemistry, digital keys, updated driver-monitoring hardware and revised software described in later announcements are not automatically fitted to a March 2025 car. A peak DC charge number alone says little about a cold battery, and the state of charge at arrival strongly affects a stop. The existence of vehicle-to-load or bidirectional functions needs precise local hardware and software qualification. Dealer adverts sometimes conflate capability announced for a platform with equipment physically present on the individual VIN.
2026 Used-Buyer Checklist and Alternatives
Before buying, confirm facelift identity from manufacturing documents and infotainment software details. Check battery state of health with a qualified method, test normal charging, review service and campaign updates and inspect the rear axle and tyres on an 85x. Obtain proof of current connected-services entitlement. Renault Scenic E-Tech and Peugeot E-3008 offer different family EV packages, while the smaller Škoda Elroq can be more sensible if external dimensions and cost take priority. Avoid assuming a late-2025 registration guarantees the latest hardware across all Enyaq versions.
