2025 XPeng P7+: Specifications, Market Variants and Used-Buyer Guide
Scope: 2025 model-year or documented 2025 sale/production year; jurisdiction: CN. Specifications apply only to the explicitly named versions.
Where This 2025 Model Fits
A crucial naming warning accompanies the 2025 XPeng P7+: it is not the original P7 sedan despite a legacy archive key that abbreviates the name. P7+ is an explicitly named fastback launched in China in November 2024 with deliveries beginning that month, giving the vehicle a genuine 2025-sale history. Its very long wheelbase and hatch-style rear opening target family and executive practicality as much as performance. The vehicle should be indexed under P7+ in public-facing text, with the pre-existing canonical key preserved only as an integration identifier until the central alias map is reconciled.
Technical Differences That Matter
At the 2024 launch XPeng quoted 5,056 mm overall length, a 3,000 mm wheelbase and a 725-litre luggage volume. It also described its AI-assisted cockpit and camera-led driver-assistance architecture, with XOS 5.4 as a key original software reference. Such launch figures are manufacturer statements and not independent cabin measurements. Importantly, XPeng's 2026 European P7+ has different hardware and charging specifications; its 800-volt batteries, trim names and new chip package must not be copied backwards to a Chinese 2025 used car.

Ownership and Inspection Priorities
As a used vehicle, P7+ needs the same practical scrutiny as any software-centred EV: confirm the hardware package, installed software version, account transfer and connectivity services. A long-wheelbase layout can feel spacious but may be harder to manoeuvre than a shorter SUV in congested parking garages. Examine tyre wear, battery and charging health records, and the availability of a service network. Claims of future over-the-air improvements should not be valued as features already delivered. Driver-assistance demonstrations always require the driver to remain responsible.
Alternatives and Buying Verdict
The natural comparison set includes other large China-market electric sedans and fastbacks rather than compact EV crossovers. The XPeng's rear access and passenger accommodation may matter more than a headline sprint time for families, while other buyers may prefer a taller body and easier ingress. Make a distinction between the P7, P7+ and 2026 European P7+ before studying advertisements. No WLTP-to-CLTC conversion or unverified autonomous-driving ranking is offered.
